How About Now

How About Now
A Comic With No Drawings

You’re telling me I’m not raising one eyebrow
right now. That’s impossible. It feels like I’m doing it.

Nope, you said,
you’re still projecting a bat signal.

Let’s go again.

Sheesh, Batman, I almost choked on your cape that time.
We’re fine here, just another false alarm.
Go on home, and maybe don’t try to rescue us anymore today,
just ignore any bat signals for the next hour,
but thank you.

I’m doing it! I’m doing it!

Not exactly, you began,

I am not trying to call for your help!

I know, distress calls are hard to tell
from a distance.
That would have been an impressive rescue.
Don’t be upset, Batman,
why don’t you join us.
You’re not intruding, we promise.

Yeah, your cape really does make a great picnic blanket.
