Not Very Hungry
Rocky outcropping you are
the bright twin of the cave
Your mind wants to clamber over all places
to own these places
You want to eat but feel no hunger
Cave can wait until it is right
The cave she dreams and swoons
over images she invents
She tosses them out into the dark
like sonar She can hear the world’s clock
