This week, we're preparing to move into our new house! It'll be our first time as homeowners, and neither my husband nor I are particularly handy :). However, we're really excited about our place, and looking forward to making our home feel more OURS.

I've been keeping a close watch on several design blogs for inspiration...here are a few favorites that you might enjoy (if you don't already follow them yourself!).

1. decor8 (especially the home tours!)
Decor8 (founded by Holly Becker) has been a longstanding favorite of mine. Their home tours are so refreshing--the perfect mix of aspirational and authentic.

See? Ridiculously adorable.

2. Emily Henderson's blog
Emily Henderson might be the cutest person in the world. Her blog is full of creative ideas and inviting, lovely spaces. Best of all, her infectious personality just pours out of her writing...you will become addicted to her site, I promise.

3. Making it Lovely
Nicole Balch, author of Making it Lovely, blogs about her Victorian home, design that strikes a balance between modern and vintage, and her life with her family. She's engaging and really detailed--I love peeking in on her process.
